TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION

  • The SunBet 2020 US Master promotion consists of a Promotional Competition where consumers stand a chance to win prizes if they place bets on the US Masters. Any bet placed to the value of R100 – R999 gets a player one entry into the draw for Prize 1. Any bet placed to the value of R1000 or greater gets a player one entry into the draw for Prize 2.
  • This promotion is administered, organised and operated by SunBet.

  • Participation in the SunBet US Masters promotion is subject to, and governed by these Rules.
  • By participating, participants will be deemed to have accepted the Rules and eligibility requirements.

LIMITATIONS

  • Persons under the age of 18 years are not permitted to participate.
  • Any person who is self-excluded or who falls into the category of excluded persons (as per gambling legislation) is expressly prohibited from participating in the SunBet US Masters promotion.
  • The SunBet US Masters promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by, SunBet or its marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.

DURATION

  • The SunBet US Masters promotion is open for participation from 9 November 2020 00h01 SAST and ends on 16 November 2020 at 23:59 SAST ("Duration").
  • No entries received outside of the Duration will be accepted. Such entries will be invalid.
  • Any bet placed to the value of R100 – R999 gets a player one entry into the draw for Prize 1.
  • Any bet placed to the value of R1000 or greater gets a player one entry into the draw for Prize 2.
  • Winners will be notified via the email address furnished.

TOURNAMENT PRIZES:

  • SunBet will offer prizes as advertised through the mediums used for the SunBet US Masters promotion and as set out in the prize schedule.
  • Winners will be drawn and notified no later and 20 November 2020 17:00 SAST.

PROMOTIONAL COMPETITION GRAND PRIZES:

  • The winners will be selected by way of random draws held after the completion of the 2020 US Masters and the winners will be notified within five (5) days.
  • Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised.
  • If a participant breaches these Rules, is involved in any suspicious and/or fraudulent activity SunBet reserves the right to cancel awarding of prizes and deny the participant, participation in SunBet US Masters promotion.
  • In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of management.
  • All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into

Disclaimer: SunBet shall under no circumstances be liable for any loss, damage, expense or delay that may arise directly or indirectly from acceptance of the prizes.

CLAIMING OF PRIZES

  • Prize winners must provide a valid and legal form of identification in the form of SA identity document/card, drivers' licence, or passport.
  • If SunBet is unable to reach the prize winners, for whatsoever reason, including incorrect email or telephone details – SunBet reserves the right, after a period of two (2) days, to issue the prize to the next highest ranked participant. In such instances, the initial prize winner will forfeit the prize without compensation.
  • Eligible winners must claim and/or collect the prize within seven (7) days from notification of the prize availability – failing which the prize will be forfeited without compensation.

DISPUTES

  • Should a participant dispute the applicability or interpretation of these rules, the participant may lodge a formal complaint to the management of SunBet by addressing a letter to the following email address: support@SunBet.co.za. The management of SunBet will provide the participant with a decision within 14 days of receipt of the request, or from receipt of additional information, if so required by SunBet.
  • If a participant is aggrieved by the decision of SunBet's management, such participant may approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (WCGRB) by addressing a complaint to the WCGRB at: complaints.compliance@wcgrb.co.za

GENERAL

  • Participants may be invited to take part in publicity campaigns subject to agreement.
  • All the clauses regarding the Competition are subject to severability. Should any clause or part thereof be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof shall be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
